About Me
My journey to becoming a Posture Therapist is rooted in a lifelong passion for sports. From an early age, I immersed myself in football, basketball, baseball, BMX, and other activities. This love for sports led me to play college basketball in Rome, Italy, and later semi-professional football in New York.
Overcoming adversity has been central to my path. Having struggled with a severe stutter until the age of 20, I pursued a degree in Speech and Language Pathology and Psychology. This was inspired in large part from the mentorship by Catherine Montgomery at the American Institute for Stuttering and Dorven Breitenfeldt at the Successful Stuttering Management Program — two programs that changed my life. I went from barely being able to speak to confidently engaging with others, inspiring me to help other people that Stutter on their journeys to overcome similar challenges. Stuttering had become one of my greatest teachers.
Along the way, I had an opportunity to play Semi-Professional Football. Naturally, I gravitated back toward training and earned my certifications with the National Academy of Sports Medicine in 2008, focusing on corrective exercise, performance, and nutrition. Driven by my own experiences with sports injuries, I developed a deep interest in corrective exercise — not only to resolve my own sports injuries but to help others overcome their physical challenges as well.
In 2011, a near-death motorcycle accident became a turning point. Doctors doubted I’d ever return to high-level physical activity. When traditional physical therapy and corrective exercise protocols fell short, I began exploring alternative methods. This led me to The Egoscue Method — a posture-based corrective exercise method that played a crucial role in my recovery. I was once again able to run and play sports, while also picking up Rock Climbing. Today, I have an advanced certification in this technique and use it to help clients achieve similar results, as reflected in their testimonials.
This method is one of many I've learned over the years and have brought into my practice — utilizing what works and leaving what does not. As a result, my practice is an evolving blend of techniques and approaches shaped by continuous learning and a commitment to what works.
My journey is one in which I’ve had to overcome many challenges, and the experiences I’ve had from these challenges have allowed me to help other people.
